Introduction

The purpose of this guide is to outline the basic steps required for each position in the Touchdown Club at Newport High School.   This document is meant as a guide so those newcomers have something to work with as the season (and events) roll out.  The information was gathered from each individual responsible for his or her respective positions in the 2008 season.  Information was emailed to me and I then cut and pasted it into this document.  It is rough but a good start.

In essence, I think of the head coach, Coach Miller, as the CEO of the program.  He develops the schedule starting with spring football and all of the surrounding events so more at those later.  Each position takes a little time but since we split out the functions, it makes each job a little easier particularly since other team members are so willing to pitch in.
